Production Assistant

We have an immediate requirement for a Production Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be working in a fast paced environment and as a team member with the knitting and Finishing department.

As a Production Assistant, you will report to the Production Manager. Your main duties and responsibilities for the role will include, but will not be limited to:

​

• To inspect socks for quality control

• Pair and pack all socks in preparation for despatch

• Prepare packaging and labels ready for relevant paperwork

• Supporting your colleagues to ensure maximum effectiveness

• Ensure production schedules are understood and met

• Ensuring personal changes are reported to the office

• Reporting machine maintenance

• Working closely with all departments to meet critical deadlines

• To be considered for the Production Assistant position, you must possess the following key skills and experience:

• Attention to detail is essential as you will be required to pack products quickly and efficiently along with checking the products & relevant paperwork

• Working of a similar environment would be advantageous

• Effective team player with a ‘can do’ attitude

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Ensuring wash care instructions are adhered to

• Health and safety - highlight possible areas of risk, operate within company guidelines
